To be honest, completely honest, nearly 99,99% of the times i browse DA, even seeing 120 thumbs per page, i don't see much art really appealing to me. Don't get me wrong, it's not that i consider myself the best photographer ever, being sincere, i use to get shocked every time one of my works have more than 10 or maybe 15 page views or get lots of favs. It's not that i SAY i'm modest, it's just i AM modest ^^ No, it's much more a matter of likes/dislikes and criticism, when you want your works to improve, apart of being really critique with your work, you have to be too critique with your likes. I'm not saying too, i only like photographs made by so talented, recognized and popular photographers using pro cameras, incredible studies or wonderful and expensive materials, curiously, most of the times is just the opposite. enjoying with wonderful and precious works made by people putting on it their whole heart, soul and illusion, doing something they really believe in no matter how many people visit them and working hard to death to go shoot and improve their works even if most of the times they have to do hard works that have nothing at all to see with art (i.e. i'm a construction worker...) having a "minimalistic" amount of free time to practice.
So, when i spent some time here at DA, far from being browsing what i do is taking a look at my message center. I strongly believe, somebody considering one of my works is worth spending a time taking a look, commenting or faving really deserves a visit. It takes a lot of time, but, i'm not the kind of person who goes and leave a simple "thanks for the fav", you must know, every single time i go, look the profile, the journal, the gallery, even people comments on works and page, responses..., i do it even when i leave no comment, most of the times is a matter of time, i'm afraid i don't have as much free time as i'd like

And, the point is, i really really really rather this than browsing because that way, lots of times i discover incredible galleries i love. Like this last week, there are 2 artist that really get my attention due to their great work and beautiful pieces i'd like to share with you:

What first impressed me, was his HDR photographs, they keep that special touch of light and colors HDR technique have making an image different and full on detail but at the same time keeps a good (so good) amount of realism and naturalism without making it overworked, excessively edited/manipulated or irreal. Then, by looking a little more into his gallery, i realized his work is much more than simply HDR photography...

I'm going to tell you the truth, my very first thought when i visited her gallery was simply "I don't f****** care if she's here only since January, i don't understand at all, how's that she only has not even 800 page views having that incredible gallery making me feel envious while lots of people making pure shit gets thousands, no matter how hard i try, i don't understand it..."
The beautifulness of the gentle light in her photographs, the incredible nature feel to it in every one of them, the precious originality using black and white to enhance even more the details on the images. In simple words, take a look at her gallery and you'll be drooling like a dog with some of the most beauty, soft, gentle, nice and kind works i had seen around DA
